Two months ago Iunik kindly sent me one of the products that I
have been wanting to try from their skin care line.
This product is the
Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil.
I love Iunik’s philosophy. Curating skin care products
focusing mainly on minimalism. Packaging wise, ingredients wise. It’s all in a minimalist approach.
So what is *Iunik’s Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil?
So what is *Iunik’s Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil?
Based from the name itself, this product is a cleansing oil w/ 94% Pure Plant Oil ( Port Marigold - “Calendula” flower extract ).
This
product claims to:
-Hydrate
- Sooth Skin
- Control Oil - Water Balance
- Aids in pore care
This cleansing oil is good for all skin type & the brand only used the safest ingredients incorporated in this product (calendula flowers, sunflower seed oil, jojoba seed oil, cananga odorata flower oil, canola oil & Queensland nut oil). Just amazing ingredients isn’t it?
Feedback:
I have used this cleansing oil day & night for a week & I must say that I can’t really fault it. It’s done it’s job by totally clearing out my full make up. Used it to clean the remnants of my skin care left over from my night time routine & even used it as a make up brush cleanser!
It’s totally done its job. And I' am totally happy of the effect of
it on my skin. Never experienced any breakouts or sensitivity. Made my face moisturize every after use. No dryness or whatsoever.
I only use one pump as I find it already enough on my bare face. Two pumps if I have a full make up on depending on how clean I want my face.
Although, as much as I want to tick all for this to be a perfect product, I can’t for 2 reasons.
I just find the oil to be on the
thicker side compare to the other three cleansing oils that I have tried before.
Also, this doesn’t have any perfume-y scent but has the “canola oil” scent if you know
what I mean.
I don’t MIND these two but I just want to put it out there.
Again, this is just my opinion. Each to their own as you know it.
A substantial reason for it’s thickness though is it doesn’t emulsify on a semi moist hand. As we all know we need to put this on a dry hand to avoid emulsification but good thing about this product is it DOESN’T!
Unless until of course you are finally off to wash it. It comes off straight
away & no oiliness left on the face. So that’s still a WIN - WIN isn’t it?
Repurchase? Yes! Definitely!
