My Thorough Review on Mellow Naturals (Thai Skincare Brand)

Mellow Naturals is a Luxury Thai Skin Care Brand that prioritises those with Asian heritage and from Thailand or Asia’s finest sources, designed to yield safer, non-toxic, more effective and more sustainable results.

 Mellow Naturals Hydration Drops
Argan, Rosehip & Strawberry Face Oil

Another #thaiskincare everyone!

This cute bottle is shouting HYDRATION - just the same as its name.

Mellow Naturals Hydration drops: What is it and what does it do to the skin? - this baby here is an antioxidant & moisturising booster. It is a highly hydrating 100% natural face oil that contains 3 rich antioxidants namely Argan, rosehip & strawberry (although, I must say that I would have loved it to have that subtle strawberry scent 😍).

These 3 ingredients are generously combined to effectively restore vitality to facial skin & at the same time maintain a well balanced nourished look & feel of the skin.

Key ingredients:

- a. Argan oil - helps boost cell regeneration
- b. Rosehip oil - high in Vit A & C w/c helps in brightening the skin & reducing scars & hyperpigmentation
- c. Strawberry oil - helps in removing dead skin cells, boost collagen & reducing fine lines. -

Feedback:

 - This product does exactly what it says on the tin - Hydration boost! Because it really provides enough hydration on the skin & literally nourishes & make my skin look healthy. This doesn’t have any crazy oil scent nor any synthetic scent. I can use this day & night without the worry that this will make my face really oily. Mellow Naturals Hydration boost facial oil is a very light weight facial oil that is good to be use on its own under make up or even mix it up with foundation to attain that glowy dewy look! I can totally attest on how amazing this product is & this product is a total game changer.

 - This product is priced at $26.45 & you can find this product in mellownaturals.com

MELLOW NATURALS
Vit C Natural Glow Face Serum

Mellow Naturals Vit C Natural Glow Face Serum. What is it and what does it do to the skin. - this serum is basically a serum to help brighten and make your skin more radiant. It is infused & is rich in Vit C & Vit C derivative that helps in formulating the perfect brightening serum. This product is also rich in essential oils, high nutrients extracts, vitamins & minerals w/c works harmoniously to create that gorgeous natural glow of the skin.

Key Ingredients includes:

a. Magnesium Ascorbyl Phospate - boost collagen & suppresses melanin formation

b. Niacinamide - offers various whitening, healing & anti ageing benefits

c. Tangerine Peel extract - capable in melanin regeneration & controlling sebum

d. Jojobal Oil - act as moisturising agent.

Feedback:

I must say I have been quite well hesitant in using serums or essences that is purely Vit C purely because of the past experience - which using one broke me out. But, good news on this one! This didn’t break me out at all! I find that this serum is mild that even citrus-y scent is so light too & not over powering. The liquid inside looks cloudy.

The viscosity is a bit thin but not watery. When applied to the skin it glides okay but tugs a little bit.

On the brightening side, it provided my skin that glow and has definitely brightens it. I was actually looking at the mirror earlier telling myself how nice my skin looks like at the moment (hoping that I didn’t just jinx it there).

But yes, so far this serum has done great on my skin & I can totally say that my skin has love it.

Also, this serum is great to use on its own or in a concoction. I sometimes mix this w/ my moisturiser & my oil & it provides a gorgeous effect the next day.

Mellow Naturals
Clarifying Face Serum [w/ Sophoro Root]

Too much stress, lack of sleep, unbalanced and unhealthy diet or environmental factors: all these can lead to breakouts, acne and oily skin.

If you are one of those girls like me who experiences oily skin and experiences break out every now and again, here’s a solution for me and you - the Mellow Naturals Clarifying Face serum.
This serum has an oil re-balancing formula w/ Pine & Sophoro Root (these contains highly potent antioxidant & antibacterial properties to counter act acne scarring & encourages cell renewal. This also helps balance the excessive oil production & minimise breakouts).

Sounds great right? I have been using this serum for over a month and it sure does help tame my breakouts most especially my oily skin. I love using this product day & night. During the day I tend to add this to my moisturiser for my skincare routine and add a bit to my foundation for a dewy look.

At night I use this serum on its own or for a boost of lazy quick skin care routine - I make a cocktail of this serum, my moisturiser & my fave oil. It comes out really great base on my experience & wake up the next day with a less oily skin.

This is another great Thai skincare brand. And as what I have always said, Thai people really knows what they do when it comes to their skin care range. And you know what’s great about this? Is by now you can purchase any Mellow Naturals product using my

My Say on the Mirrakech Facial Oil

Facial oil has never been my thing until I got deeply involved with skin care and kbeauty. I always thought that facial oil won’t do no good for me because I already have an oily skin so why add up more oil to it? But little did I know that incorporating facial oil will actually provide a great benefit to my skin.

Today, I’ll introduce to you Mirrakech - a 100% pure & organic virgin Argan Oil from Thailand. I’ am so impressed of how Thailand is really upping up their game when it comes to skin care & I’ am so glad I get to discover yet another great Thai brand.

Mirrakech isn’t only a brand who loves nature but also loves using organic products that has natural benefits for beauty. They have always looked for solutions to create a wonderful looking skin. I love that their vision is to create products that does not interfere w/ nature nor the community that lives with it.

Mirrakech has incorporated the best ingredient (Argan Oil) in their product. It has amazing benefits to the skin including moisturising dry skin, treating rashes, controls over production of acne & regulates sebum production. It is basically called the liquid gold that is jump packed w/ natural nutrients essential to the skin cells.

Mirrakech Argan facial oil has been helping my skin with the hydration & moisture that it needs. I always wake up with non greasy face & a more healthy looking skin w/ a subtle glow. I also use this together with my moisturiser & serum & always ends up w/ a good effect. I even add this on my foundation & it creates a gorgeous dewy look.

This is also good to use for pregnant women to rub on their belly to avoid stretch marks. Over all I love this face oil and I can 100% recommend this.

PR Gifted | but all opinions are 100% my own.

REVIEW || Nacific Real floral Calendula Toner

Calendula is becoming one of those ingredients that every brand wants to incorporate in their products. It helps prevent harmful substances on the skin & soothes sensitive skin quickly that’s why it’s been called the Goddess of herbs (bcos of it’s healing properties)

Nacific is one of the great Korean brands that definitely knows what they’re doing - incorporating Calendula in their toner. This just doesn’t look pretty but pretty effective too.

So what is the Nacific Real Floral Caledula Toner?
- this as you see is a toner w/ real petals & is mild on the skin. - It has Calendula & jeju herb 7 complex (the latter w/c include chamomile, rosemary, lemongrass & tea tree) help to ease tensions of the day & strengthen moisture barrier
- It helps nourish the skin, good for all skin types, effective for soothing the skin & strengthening moisture barrier
- It comes in a transparent watery texture & is sealed in a built in cap to adjust the amount of contents.

Feedback:

- I have been using this toner along with the cream (separate review) for almost two months & I can say that this toner is definitely an effective one. I love that it has the real Calendula petals inside w/c  helps in keeping the Calendula scent & moistness for a long time plus the petals helps in nourishment easily sinking to the skin. I noticed that it helped put the inflamed  crevices along side my nose. It even ease the massive pimple that I have that time. It helps clear my skin & is very moisturising. My skin feels soft & pliant - the perfect effect that I need for my skin when using a toner.

- Swipe to the next photos to see one week usage & more than a month usage of the Real Calendula Floral Toner. On the first week, I already experienced amazing effects. On more than a months usage, you will see how the pimple has gone down & my skin looks definitely better, clean and glow-y.
( Check out my Instagram for how my skin looks a week after using the toner and how it looks after a month)

- I can definitely say that I will purchase this toner once I run out (w/c I am already so close to finishing it btw). Plus I love the benefits that it has given my skin.

Aqulabo Mask Boosting Jelly Mist

I always wonder what misting or facial mist do to your skin - aside from freshening up your face or skin, what else does it give you?

That's why I wasn't so keen on putting that in my routine before? I was super minimalist when it comes to skin care routine. I basically just cleanse, tone moisturise. I added up serum later on. But misting, it only happened earlier last year.

There was one time in my life where I actually tried misting - like super early days. Talk about way back 2008. I was in University and my cousin introduced me to this facial mist. He said coming from a night duty in the hospital, you need to have a fresh look - and so comes in misting. It was but a quick and short experience with facial misting that I have totally forgotten about it not until early 2018 - when K-beauty was so hyped up and the 7 skin care routine was on the bloom. Of course I need to jump into the band wagon and also get into misting. The first K-beauty brand that I have tried was Laneige. I definitely fell in love with it and I thought i must not go without.

I have tried other brands, mostly are French brands in the likes of Avene and Evian. The latest were Korean brands like the Benton Tea Tree mist and Heimish.

But moving on to the present, I have the Aqulabo Masking Mask Boosting Jelly Mist. At first I was a bit taken a back - I mean jelly mist? How would that work? A jelly that would turn into mist? I surely have so many questions not until I actually tried it first hand.

So it is indeed jelly but when sprayed it comes out as a mist, not fine but just enough to provide the needed boost for your mask. I actually use this as a normal mist as it is okay to use it that way too.

--

Heading on to what this thing is.

The Jelly Mist is an innovative gel-to-liquid facial mist that opens up the absorption pathway of your skin to boost effectiveness of skincare products while adjusting pH balance of you skin and strengthening skin barrier.

This mist is comprise of:
1. Amino acid complex which mildly smooth dead skin cells to softens skin texture.
2. Liposomal ceramide and "Gomisin N" - which strengthens skin barrier and increase "moisture lock-in" effect.
3. Omija (magnolia berry) extract (pH 5.5) - which assists to balance skin pH.

This has 99% Natural ingredients & an EWG Green Grade 95%

The product is in 200 ml / 6.76 fl. oz and retails at $32.00.

--

Feedback:

I have used this mist on top of a mask or on its own for a month and I can say that it has indeed made my masking experience great and my skin care routine even better.

I noticed that it adds up great hydration when I spritz this on top of my mask. Make it more cooler (as some masks are not that cooling) and make my skin drink up all the goodness from this mist and the essence of the mask combined.

I also use this on its own in between toner and essence. And this just adds up some extra layer of hydration, makes the nourishment from the toner locked up with the goodness of this mist.

I also use this to freshen up my face during the day - with or without make up. It cools my skin and it makes me look fresher when I mist on top of my make up.

--

This mist indeed has achieved its claims and I can totally say that I' am beyond happy and lucky to have tried this mist out.

A massive thank you to Aqulabo for letting me try this product.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse - is this the best French pharmacie dry oil?

I have been wanting to try out this  Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse for a long long time. This dry oil has such a cult following and I want to know why people raves about this.

Since there was a sale on our local online shop, plus it was free shipping  - despite it buying against my will, I decided to finally bite the bullet and and purchase it. I mean, you can't never really argue if it's on sale plus free shipping.

I was peppy and when I finally received it, I was as happy as a lark. This French  pharmacie brand is just so gorgeous and I must say that this is one of the best multi purpose dry oil out there.

So what is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse?

From their website:

The iconic dry oil Huile Prodigieuse®, No. 1* in the Oils category in French pharmacies, nourishes, repairs and beautifies the face, body and hair. In 2017, this multi-purpose dry oil has been enriched with highly nourishing Tsubaki oil. Now even more innovative, it is anti-oxidant, has a "shield" effect against pollution** and reduces the appearance of stretch marks. Its addictive scent and unique silicone-free dry oil texture promise a truly Prodigious experience.

--

So yes, this is a dry oil.  A multi - purpose dry oil used for the face body and hair, even for stretch marks! It is rich in so many great oils - macadamia seed oil, sweet almond oil, hazel seed oil, camellia seed oil and the likes. It also has tocopherol or vitamin E. I mean, me being me, a lover of anything multi - purpose, I straight away jumped into the bandwagon. Because firstly, it cannot only be use to one thing but there are other two more. With the price tag of $24.44/18.50 GBP, this is definitely a good steal.

--

Packaging:

The Nuxe Dry oil comes in a glass packaging, it is spray type which makes it easier to take the product out and spread it over to your body. It has a gold cap that makes it more luxurious looking - I really do think packaging plays a big role to attract a customer/consumer to buy a certain product or item. It comes in a 50 ML and 100 ML. I have the latter.

--

How I use it.

Most of the time use it on my face and it really gives a nice glow after. The oil is so lightweight you won't even know it's there.. The left over oil on my hands I slather on my arms and on my hair. I mean, I want to make sure that I' am using it the best way possible without wasting any product. I sometimes use it as a perfume oil (because it has a gorgeous scent more like a perfume) or spray it at the back of my ears and spray whatever perfume I' am using that day - the oil makes the perfumes scent stay longer plus it's like I have layered two perfumes in that way.

The best thing about this oil plus me with an oily combination skin is this makes my skin less oily. I mean talk about an oil that makes your skin less oily the day after. I usually wake up with really oily skin in the morning, but with this on the night before, I wake up with less oily skin and I' am so happy about it.

--

I' am seriously obsessed with this product and I can totally recommend this to add in your skin care stash.

Check out this baby in Beauty Manila - or if you are like me, make sure you wait on their sales so you can snag this for less.

--

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you enjoyed my review. If you want to know about my latest diversion check out Instagram page :)

Until the next one

Quest - Journey to Glowing Skin

These days, we're always on the hunt for that glorious glowing skin.

In that aspect we tend to buy numerous skin care products that will provide that teeny sheen or glow on our skin. The glow-y skin we have, the youthful and fresh we look.

I have been on the hunt for that skin care product that will provide me the full package. The brightening, anti ageing and the repairing aspect as well.

--

Quest Glow Nectar has been a big help when it comes to the repairing and brightening aspect. But before we go to details, let me tell you a little something about Quest.

Quest is a brightening and repairing serum. This is a product made from Thailand. Thai are well known for their quest to glow-y and brighter skin.

This product is specifically made to target tired and lackluster skin which s a result from sun damage, stressful lifestyle.

Quest Glow Nectar is infused with innovative Celtosome Crithmum Maritimum ST (helps in skin lightening and wound healing properties), marine EPS white and botanical extracts to revitalise and repair and even out skin tone.

Active Ingredients:

- Celtosome Crithmum Maritimum ST
-  Marine EPS White (effectively reduce dark spots - caused by UV damages & pollution , allowing skin to radiate its glow.

Quest Glow Nectar is free from:

- Alcohol denat
- Silicones
- Synthetic colorants
- Mineral oil
- Synthetic fragrances
- cruelty free

--

So I have been using Quest Glow Nectar for almost 2 months and I tell you I' am about to actually finish the bottle. I have an eighth left on the current bottle that I have.

I use it everyday, morning and night. This serum is more like of an essence. It doesn't have the oily feel or the thick feel of a serum. It is very light and glides on the skin really well. Also goes well with other products.

I noticed visible results from using this. My pimple marks which turns dark has definitely lighten. Some dark spots and dark discoloration has eventually lighten too. My skin always seems to be so glow-y. And I just love it.

I know that if I would use this longer all the dark spots and the dark pimple marks will definitely go away. I just can't seej to fathom that I' am almost done with my bottle.

The product is 20 ml encased in a glass container with a dropper. You only need 1 to 2 drops with moisturiser on a clean face. And use this in conjunction with sunscreen.

Given the chance to repurchase, I would definitely do for sure. And I can 100% recommend this. Suitable for any type of skin most especially for Asian skin like mine :)

This part of my face has a slight discoloration, maybe because of using make up and not much of skin care. This has definitely lightened and that pimple mark is way lighter after using Quest Glow Nectar.

--

You can purchase Quest Glow Nectar on their Facebook Page  and for updates and recent posts on Instagram

This product is PR Gifted but opinions and views are 100% my own.

Apara Thailand Essence Review

As we age, our skin age with us too.

Our skin lose hydration, we get wrinkles, dark spots, fine lines and uneven skin tone.
And because of this we tend to look for products that will help prevent our skin from all these bad things.

I, to be honest has a minimal skin care routine before. But getting more deeper into skin care last year, I started my 7 skin care routine, even more than that sometimes. And in this routine I included essence. I was totally unsure of where and when to insert essence in my routine, but I eventually figured it out.

So what is an essence?

Based on my research, essence is a concentrated formula that specifically target wrinkles, fine lines, and dull and uneven skin tones. It is lighter than serum but mostly has watery consistency with viscous consistency.

Essences are meant to hydrate and brighten the skin. And because of its watery consistency it's almost good for all skin types.

When do you insert essence in your routine?

As for me, I use it after toning and before serum. I even sometimes layer my essence on a maximum of two, putting the lightest consistency first. Essences nowadays are in all shape and kind.

The current essence that is part of my skincare routine is the Apara The First Care Para Activating essence.

This is a product of Thailand and almost all ingredients are found in Thailand too, their main ingredient is found in a Para Tree (rubber tree) which can be found in some parts of South East Asia, most speially in Thailand.

I have been using this essence for almost two months now. This is a milky type of essence. Very watery and no viscosity at all. This isn't as cooling as the other essences but is really so hydrating and moisturising. My skin always feels so nice every time I use it.

I love how my skin has that tiny hint of glow every after use. I didn't have any break out or sensitivity from using this product. This just gives that amazing rehabilitation that your skin needs after being out and about all day.

Let's talk about the packaging.

The packaging comes in a white frosted plastic bottle. There is no pump but you can still easily take the product out when needed. The design of the print was influenced when a bark of the rubber tree is being opened and the sapwood inside with its lining became part of the design of the bottle.

Notable ingredients:

1. Hamamelis virginiana extract - commonly known as witch hazel, has anti inflammatory and anti viral properties that can be used to treat varieties of conditions

2. Chamomila recutita extract - including antiseptic, antispasmodic, antipyretic, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-allergenic activity.

3. Sodium pca - primarily functions as a humectant moisturizer in skin

4. Centella asiatic extract - anti ageing properties and improved elasticity of the skin

5. Cynara sodymus leaf extract - super rich in anti oxidant that heps improves over all skin health

6. Niacinamide - help visibly improve the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and a weakened surface

What a great line up of ingredients, all gathered up to create a gorgeous looking skin.

Overall, this product has been well received by my skin and I feel like I can't live without this anymore.

Thank you Apara Thailand and Frank for giving me the opportunity to try out this product.

Review of Solved Skin Care Cleansing Duo

Cleansing has always been a big part of my skin care routine.

It started when I was way way young. I was always a clean freak - most especially when it comes to my body and my face.

I have always been a fan of double cleansing. I use to have my trusty Etude House Lip and Eye Remover (way back) to start off melting my make up, then I use a foam cleanser (Ponds - an older version of this facial foam wash) to finally wash off and cleanse my face.
---

Moving forward to today - 2019, a lot of products and brands has surfaced especially now that K-beauty is in boom.

One of these brands is Solved Skin Care  who kindly sent me their cleansing duo to try out in exchange for an honest review.

The package came in with their two main products which is the Coconut Oil Cleansing Pad
and the Coconut Water Cleansing Foam .

--

Let me talk you through each products and let me start it off with the first step which is the Coconut oil Cleansing pad. This is actually a first one for me. I know of facial wipes but I never heard of a cleansing pad that is also an exfoliating pad. I have tried an exfoliating pad before but purely used for exfoliation.

--

So what is the Solved Coconut oil cleansing pad?

- this cleansing pad is a double sided pad that is 100 %
- it is gentle on your face but tough on make up, unwanted dirt and fine dust
- one pad is enough to cleanse, exfoliate and purify your face  leaving it soft and hydrated. \
-  one pad, that's all. Problem SOLVED.

--

What are the ingredients in this cleansing pad?
- Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PEG - 20 Glyceryl Triisostearate

--

How I use it.

- On a bare or with full make up on face, I gently wipe through this cleansing pad on my face. I make sure that I don't rub hard as this is also an exfoliating pad. The more you rub the more chances that you will over exfoliate your face. Although it isn't that bad as this is filled with virgin coconut oil that just helps the pad glide through smoothly to your skin.

--

My feedback.

- I love this cleansing pad first off because it is filled with 100% virgin coconut oil that has so much benefits on the skin. It is rich in antioxidant and has moisturizing properties to help achieve a lighter and more even skin tone. It also helps the body get rid of dead skin and assists in regenerating new and healthier skin cells.

- It is so effective in removing make up, although, it didn't remove all of my water proof mascara. Because of the thickness of the Virgin Coconut Oil it also has the tendency to cloud your eyes. So I always leave the eye make up last to remove and then I can just rinse if off with the cleanser.

- Since this is also an exfoliating pad, it does help my skin remove all the dead skin cells.
Not entirely sure about black heads and white heads removal although they never claimed that it will remove it.

- This cleansing pad really moisturised my skin, again because of the virgin coconut oil. I don't have much qualm about this product aside from it not entirely removing my water proof mascara and clouding my eyes which is quite common when you use any product that involves an oil ingredient.

- This cleansing pad can also be used every day if you don't have sensitive skin. I mostly use this when I have a full make up on although can be used bare faced but I find it more practical using it with too much make up. Solved cleansing pad can also be used on the neck as the neck also gets too many dirt and grime on a daily basis. The pad is quite big that one side is enough to clean the whole face and the other side for the neck.

---

After my first cleanse I head on to my second cleanse which I do mostly with a cleansing foam - and now comes in the Solved Coconut Water Cleansing Foam.

- Again this is another first for me because I never had any cleansing foam that has a coconut water ingredient in it. We all know that coconut is a tree of life and this tree starting from the roots to its fruit is just as useful.

--

So what is the Solved Coconut Water Cleansing Foam?

- this product is a cleansing foam used as a second cleanse or just a cleanser on its own. This is made up 75% coconut water which helps a lot in hydrating your skin and if you are a drinker of coconut water, we all know that this has such good benefits in our body too promoting not only enough hydration but also helps removes toxins out of the body. This also helps cleanse the kidneys.

--

What are the ingredientsin this cleansing foam?

-Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water 75%, Potassium Cocoyl glycinate, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Coco Betaine, hydroxyacetophenone, 1-2 Hexanediol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Butylene glycoil, Propanediol, Argenine, Water, Disodium Edta

--

How I use it?

- I use this cleansing oil as my second cleanse after I use the cleansing pad. This easily washes off the left over oil that is left behind by the cleansing pad. It gives you that clean feeling after using this cleansing foam.

--

My feedback.

- I love how gentle this Coconut water cleansing foam. I mean I wouldn't expect any less as it has 75% coconut water as ingredient. It's super nice on the skin not harsh at all and it has that subdued scent of coconut water on it - which keeps reminding me of how I love the coconut water juice.

- The packaging is in a clear plastic bottle and product is super visible as it's water like. It comes with a pump and when you try to get some product out it turns out into a nice white foam.

- I slather the foam cleanser to my face and it really feels so nice to the skin. After rinsing it off, my skin feels so smooth and clean but not dry. I love how great this product is and I can totally recommend this 100%.

--
The cleansing pad and the cleansing foam duo is indeed an amazing combo for double cleansing and I couldn't recommend this more enough as I just love it so much.

--

Have you tried these duo before? If not, what are you waiting for? Check out Solved Skin Care

APARA Relaxing Cleansing Oil | REVIEW

I only discovered cleansing oil last year 2018 when I luckily won the travel size MAC Cleanse Off Oil. I even used a cotton to remove the make up only thinking that it was meant to be placed on dry hands and rub it off  on your skin/face.

When I found out about cleansing oil, my thoughts about cleansing products have changed. I always focused on foam cleansers and gel cleansers. They were my sort of cleansers. I didn't know that there were a variety. I mean I do know, it's just that I was already invested in what I was currently using compare to changing to a new one again.

Around mid year last year I discovered about Thai Skin care. That led me to stalking so many Thai brands and I was so into them. I discovered this brand so called Apara Thailand. I checked out their company, read about them and translated their story on google translate as everything was in Thai. I somehow understood their story in those translation and fell in love with the brand. I spoke to their Founder and CEO Frank and we agreed on a collaboration.

Early January I finally received the most awaited parcel. I was only expecting the cleansing oil but to my surprise they also sent me the Apara essence - I felt so jovial about it!

---

A little story about Apara.

Apara is a Thai skin care brand made and developed in Thailand. The main ingredients are sourced from rubber seeds which is commonly found in Thailand. The rubber seed oil are rich in anti oxidant and has good benefits on the skin. Apara has the philosophy of creating this product that obtains the ingredient from Thailand, using the availability found in their country instead of sourcing it from abroad and also the fact that these rubber seed oil are being sourced out from their country, created outside of their country and bring it back to Thailand to sell it for Thai people's consumption. Hence the reason why Apara created this amazing product, created in Thailand and to be sold to Thai people too.

---

Moving on to February, after more than a month of trial and testing the cleansing oil, I finally made my conclusion about  this product.

Packaging (Box):

The box is two toned. Three quarters is printed in dark green colour and a quarter of it which is below the green part is printed in white colour which includes the brand name and the relevant information about the products. The back part has the information about how the product is being used, the ingredients list, the warning sign (if product didn't work out) and the manufacturing & distribution sign. These are both written in English and Thai which is such a good thing for non Thai readers.

Product Packaging (Container):

The product is in a nice chic muted green container. It has a pump which makes it easy to get the product out.Very hygienic too.

Product Information:

Apara Cleansing Oil is a gentle oil in emulsion. It makes your skin moist, soft and deep clear. This is a mild cleansing oil that effectively removes make up leaving the skin relaxed and moisturised.

Product texture:

Apara cleansing oil is a clear type of oil and is very light weight.

Feedback:

- I have used this cleansing oil for more than a month and all I can say is it's done it's job so far.

- It removes heavy make up and is easy on bare skin face with skin care left over.

- This cleansing oil is very relaxing when I slather it on my face. The scent is close to nothing but reminds me of the oil that they use in a spa.

- The texture is very clear and is really light weight too compare to other cleansing oils that I've tried.

- The packaging is very aesthetically pleasing.

- The price point is right.

- The product emulsifys upon contact with water.

- All in all this cleansing oil is an amazing cleansing oil. Made my skin moisurised and relaxed after use. Didn't gave me any break outs nor clogged my pores. And I can safely say that I recommend this product for you to try and enjoy the experience of cleansing :)

Apara Cleansing Oil retails for 790 Baht/$26/20 GBP

COSCODI Pick Me Up Tone - Up Cushion

Hi everyone!

I" am back with another review for you guys and this time is an actual first for me and in this blog.

Well, I say first because I have never used this type of product before.  I mean I' am the kind of person that just doesn't fall with what's hyped up.

Plus the fact that I have always been a lover of liquid foundation.

The product that I am talking about is the *Coscodi Pick Me Up Tone - Up Cushion, this is my first ever cushion. I know a lot of #kbeautylovers converted to cushions a long time ago. While for me, it takes quite a while to make me love something especially if I am so not into it.

Anyway, heading on to the main topic for today, Coscodi a brand well known for its masks has come up with a new product and it's their cushion foundation. They have four cushion in their brand namely:

- Coscodi Mint Air Cushion
- Coscodi Pick Me Up Tone Up Cushion
- Illumination Shining Snow BB Cushion
- Illumination Shining Glittering Light Cool Cushion

They have kindly gifted me the Pick Me Up Tone Up Cushion which comes in a really pretty packaging. Rose gold and has a nice leaf print on top. The rest of the packaging is blush pink.

This cushion is compose of dual side. One of which is the white colour for brightening. The pink side is with calamine powder.

The concept of this product is:
- to make your skin looks brighter
-  U/V protection with SPF 50+ PA+++
- Whitening (as this product has Glutathione)
- Anti - ageing
- triple functional cosmetic

I' am already sold on the overall presentation (well done on that Coscodi) Applause... Applause..

Going on to the effectiveness of the product, I must say that it did brighten my skin. I love mixing both but I love the look of the pink side as it makes my face more pinkier (making it looking radiant and healthy).

The white side makes my skin looks really bright and definitely glowy too. I love that this cushion is almost near the look of my skin but just a little polished.

It has covered the slight redness on the crevices of my nose. Covered a few of my blemishes and little discoloration except for the pimple mark that I have (totally understandable as it's still quite too dark to be covered).

This tone up cushion did cover a few of my blemishes but this definitely is not a full coverage. I think the goal of this cushion is more like a "no make up" make up look.

This could have been amazing too if  Coscodi created a wider range of shade for this tone up cushion.

This shade is definitely for fairer skin tone. My skin tone is  fair to medium and I try making this cushion as a base and I apply a darker concealer on top of it, blending it and creating a much more near complexion to mine. So far this being light is my only qualm about this product.

Everything about this tone up cushion is so on fleek that the cons are not even that noticeable.

I have been enjoying using this cushion everyday for the last week and I am loving it.

If you want to know more about this cushion and the other cushions, they've all been linked up there.

This product has been gifted by brand but all opinions are 100% my own.

I hope this has been a good read for you guys and I hope you get to try this cushion too.

Serum to Serum - The Skin House & Coxir Serums

Hi everyone!

Back again with another review for you guys. Oh wait! Not just one review but two reviews to be exact.

Will be telling you about these two serums from sister company The Skinhouse and Coxir. Both are Korean brands but focuses on different type of ingredients and different targets and focus when it comes to your skin.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serum plays a major role in one’s skin care routine. It’s a Holy Grail. A necessity to complete your skin care routine and to achieve that glass, firm and wrinkle free skin.

THE SKINHOUSE ROSE HEAVEN SERUM

The *Skinhouse Rose Heaven Serum is a 2 in one type of serum that helps and or act as an anti ageing product at the same time as a whitening product. It is enriched with highly concentrated rose ingredients that aids in leveling out one’s skin tone and smoothing out the rough textures on your skin.

I was lucky to have been gifted by Skinhouse this amazing product. I am a serum girl & I believe in its powers. Serum is important for me as I may not be at that age where I totally need it but early prevention as they say is better than cure. I know when I reach 40 in years time that I will tap my back & say “Good job for using serums in your early days Kathy”.

Top 3 Ingredients from the nature

1. Rose hip oil
2. Rose
3. Camucamu (from the Amazon)

Feedback:

I have used this serum for more than 2 weeks & I seriously have no complains. The texture is just right. It’s light weight but not watery. It is a gel type serum but not clear, it has that nice viscosity on it - just how I like w/ my serum. The product is nicely packaged in a glass container & has a pump w/c makes it easier to take the product out plus very hygienic too.

This is in 50 ml & this will definitely go a long way. All you need is one pump & you are good to go.

Effectivity:

- Since using this serum I felt that my skin has improved. No harsh reactions, purging or anything of that sort. It’s good on its own or under make up.

- No horrible scent but just a muted rose-y scent. I love the feel of it on my skin. It’s like silk touching my skin, making it supple and smooth.

- For the whitening side, my skin looks brighter but I guess this requires a longer term use to see the best effect same as on the anti ageing side but over all this is such an amazing serum that is true to its claims.

COXIR INTENSIVE EGF PEPTIDE

Along with the Rose Heaven Serum, I was also gifted the *Coxir Intensive EGF Peptide Serum

This brand was only launched last year. They are a subsidiary of  Noksibcho which was around and inbusiness for 30 years. This serum is way different to the rose serum from The Skinhouse.

This brand goes on the slogan of GOOD. SIMPLE. TRENDY. which goes along with their product.

The packaging of this serum is in a plastic with pump container. It's a transparent bottle and the product inside is easily visible. It has a pump which makes it easy to get the product out and only giving you minimal amount to use.

The serum is in gel texture, very clear and is easily absorbed by the skin. I used this for two weeks and so far no irritations or any harsh reactions. I feel that my skin has been really loving this because it's never been this cooperative when starting out a new product to try out.

The Coxir Intensive EGF Peptide Serum has three main ingredients beneficial in nourishing one's skin.

1. EGFA polypeptide (or molecular chain of amino acids) developed to speed wound recovery, EGF stimulates skin growth at the cellular level. It may also increase collagen production.

2. Peptideoften act as hormones and thus constitute biologic messengers carrying information from one tissue through the blood to another. It is known in reducing fine lines.

3. Collagen - one of the most well-known benefits of collagen is its ability to promote glowing, vibrant skin. This essential protein provides elasticity to the skin, helping it to appear more youthful and healthy.

These three ingredients are so beneficial if you want a youthful glowing skin - especially if you are on that age that you need to put into bay your fine lines and wrinkles. These three act a major role in defense against anti ageing (no wonder my skin has been loving this serum).

I can't say much but just "amazing" on this serum. I feel like this has done me good. My skin looks brighter and yes, firmer too! This product has definitely achieved it's claims for me.
