Aqulabo Mask Boosting Jelly Mist

I always wonder what misting or facial mist do to your skin - aside from freshening up your face or skin, what else does it give you?

That's why I wasn't so keen on putting that in my routine before? I was super minimalist when it comes to skin care routine. I basically just cleanse, tone moisturise. I added up serum later on. But misting, it only happened earlier last year.

There was one time in my life where I actually tried misting - like super early days. Talk about way back 2008. I was in University and my cousin introduced me to this facial mist. He said coming from a night duty in the hospital, you need to have a fresh look - and so comes in misting. It was but a quick and short experience with facial misting that I have totally forgotten about it not until early 2018 - when K-beauty was so hyped up and the 7 skin care routine was on the bloom. Of course I need to jump into the band wagon and also get into misting. The first K-beauty brand that I have tried was Laneige. I definitely fell in love with it and I thought i must not go without.

I have tried other brands, mostly are French brands in the likes of Avene and Evian. The latest were Korean brands like the Benton Tea Tree mist and Heimish.

But moving on to the present, I have the Aqulabo Masking Mask Boosting Jelly Mist. At first I was a bit taken a back - I mean jelly mist? How would that work? A jelly that would turn into mist? I surely have so many questions not until I actually tried it first hand.

So it is indeed jelly but when sprayed it comes out as a mist, not fine but just enough to provide the needed boost for your mask. I actually use this as a normal mist as it is okay to use it that way too.

Feedback:

I have used this mist on top of a mask or on its own for a month and I can say that it has indeed made my masking experience great and my skin care routine even better.

I noticed that it adds up great hydration when I spritz this on top of my mask. Make it more cooler (as some masks are not that cooling) and make my skin drink up all the goodness from this mist and the essence of the mask combined.

I also use this on its own in between toner and essence. And this just adds up some extra layer of hydration, makes the nourishment from the toner locked up with the goodness of this mist.

I also use this to freshen up my face during the day - with or without make up. It cools my skin and it makes me look fresher when I mist on top of my make up.
